We have yet to slow down in 2026 and our work goes beyond Menstruation Stations, health workshops, and preparing our legacy for the community: We’re also putting together a great lineup for an all-out farewell get-together. So we really hope you’ll join us on October 21st from 5:30 pm at Hal West in Amsterdam West and help mark seven years of making a difference.

The evening will bring together action, reflection, connection and celebration. We’ll share our 2026 insights on period poverty, and guests will have the opportunity to support a specific Menstruation Station: matchmaking for direct, local change.

On the Hal West mezzanine, our story-gathering corner will offer space for guests to share menstrual experiences through writing, conversation or sketches. During the Grassroots Marketplace, you can meet fellow local changemakers and organizations making a real impact across Amsterdam.

Together with grassroots groups and a major ally from France, we’ll also have a candid conversation about the future of our cities, addressing:

ᐧ What does it take for grassroots organisations to survive and thrive?

ᐧ What do we lose when community groups – the beating heart of a city – disappear?

ᐧ How can we keep our cities liveable for everyone?

Of course, a bittersweet toast, dancing, and a surprise or two also have their place.

But this meaningful, sometimes poignant but joyful evening won’t be the same without people from all walks of life, including you. Bring others along, the more voices we gather, the greater the potential impact. To ensure turnout and inclusiveness, tickets will be free, with more details including for reserving your tickets shared closer to the date. For now, please block the evening in your calendar.

Come continue the conversation!
